What are the responsibilities and job description for the The Melrose Georgetown Hotel One Touch Reservation Manager position at Remington Hospitality?
- Know all emergency procedures (fire, weather, bomb threats, guest accidents/illness, etc.).
- Prepare weekly schedule while maintaining proper documentation (i.e. time cards, disciplinary procedures, reviews, etc.)
- Prepare purchase requisitions for supplies needed.
- Participate in the following:
- Monthly department meetings
- Property M.O.D. Programs
- GSS
- Meet budget by performing within guidelines.
- Anticipate guest needs. Maintain positive guest relations by cordially communicating with guests, promptly and professionally checking them in and out of the hotel.
- Assist with proper staffing levels for front office associates. Have a complete understanding of the job descriptions and duties of the front office staff and be able to complete those duties. (Valet, Front Desk Associate, Front Desk Supervisor, and PBX Operator)
- Accurately manage and operate the POS system.
- Assist with coordinating incentives to improve guest service.
- Guide occupancy to maximize room inventory to increase revenues.
- Work in a cooperative and friendly manner with fellow associates.
- Perform any reasonable request as assigned or directed by management.
- Properly handle all guest complaints and/or concerns.
- Effectively portray leadership and provide guidance.
- Salary: 60,000.00 Annually (USD)
