Summary:
The Clinical Supervisor is a licensed mental health professional who oversees all therapeutic and social
service interventions within a region, ensuring that the services meet and/or exceed the prevalent needs and
standards of the community, government laws and regulations and the personal needs of the clients themselves.

• Master's degree (M. A.) or equivalent, BBS Licensure plus at least 2 years’ experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
1. Training and Supervision: It is the Clinical Supervisor's responsibility to ensure that all of the
personnel within a region receive the training and supervision they require in order to perform their
duties with excellence. Specific duties include:
a. Participating with the Clinical Program Manager in developing and maintaining Remi Vista
Policy on the supervision and training of all direct services personnel.
b. Ensuring that Remi Vista’s policies for the supervision and training of regional personnel are
adhered to within a region.
c. Weekly provides on-going and direction in the care of clinical and social service providers
specific consumers.
d. Providing direct clinical services within the region, which may include assessment, therapy,
plan development, collateral services, rehabilitation services, therapeutic behavioral
services, case management or social work services.
e. Provide regular, direct training for staff in areas of clinical expertise, as needed.
2. Continuous Quality Improvement: The Clinical Supervisor is responsible to ensure that the
services provided within a region meet and / or exceed all county, state, and federal regulations and
that they are adequately meeting the needs of the consumers. The Clinical Supervisor accomplishes
this by:
a. Ensuring that all services are adequately and properly documented and that the
documentation accurately reflects the services provided.
i. The Clinical Supervisor reviews the assessments, treatment plans and progress
notes of direct service providers.
b. Participating with the Clinical Program Manager in the design and implementation of
program and practice outcome evaluations.
c. Ensuring that the Remi Vista outcome evaluation plan is adhered to and carried out within
the region.
d. Organizing and monitoring outcome data collection.
3. Program and Practice Development: The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for the region’s
ability to respond to community needs with excellence. This includes the following duties:
a. Participating with the Clinical Program Manager in the process of researching and
reviewing evidence-based practices for potential integration into a region's service
provision.
b. Facilitating the integration of evidence-based practices into a region’s service provision
c. Assisting the team in designing and overseeing the implementation of new community based programs, in collaboration with the Clinical Program Manager and community
partners.
d. Assisting the team in writing new program descriptions for a new regional program.
e. Making necessary changes to existing program descriptions in response to community
needs or the results gathered from internal evaluations of programs.
