 About the Role – Home Health Speech Therapist

As a Home Health Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will deliver personalized speech therapy, swallowing treatment, and communication rehabilitation to patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery.

This is a highly rewarding opportunity to make a direct impact in senior care and rehab while working independently in a mobile therapy setting.

 Key Responsibilities

• Provide in-home speech therapy services in accordance with physician orders
• Perform evaluations and assessments for speech, language, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans with measurable outcomes
• Deliver swallowing therapy (dysphagia management) and communication training
• Educate patients and families on home programs and strategies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support holistic patient care
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with home health regulations

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology
• Active California SLP License
• ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) candidates welcome
• Minimum 1 year of experience preferred (home health experience is a plus)

• Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation (mobile home health role)
• Current auto insurance
• Professional liability insurance
