What are the responsibilities and job description for the Board Certified Behavior Analyst position at Remedy Therapy ABA?
Remedy Therapy ABA & Family Services is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our growing team! We provide individualized, naturalistic ABA services to children and families across home, school, daycare, and community settings.
We are looking for a BCBA who values connection, autonomy, dignity, and meaningful skill development and who approaches ABA through a neurodivergent-affirming, child-led lens. Our goal is not simply to change behavior, but to understand the individual, identify what they are communicating through their behavior, and create supportive environments where they can learn, grow, and participate more fully in their everyday lives.
The BCBA will be responsible for developing and overseeing individualized treatment plans, conducting assessments, providing clinical supervision, collaborating with caregivers and other members of the child's support team, and ensuring high-quality ABA services.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing practice where you can have a meaningful impact while working within a supportive and collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive ABA assessments, including functional behavior assessments and skills assessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on each client's strengths, needs, preferences, and goals
- Design and oversee naturalistic, evidence-based interventions across home, school, daycare, and community settings
- Provide ongoing clinical supervision, guidance, and support to RBTs and other direct-care staff
- Review and analyze data to monitor progress and make clinically appropriate treatment adjustments
- Provide caregiver training and collaborate with families to support skill development and generalization across environments
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, teachers, related service providers, and other members of the client's care team
- Conduct direct observations and provide hands-on clinical support when needed
- Support staff in implementing treatment plans with consistency, flexibility, and clinical integrity
- Complete required clinical documentation, progress reports, reassessments, and insurance-related documentation in a timely manner
- Maintain compliance with ethical standards, payer requirements, and applicable regulations
- Advocate for client autonomy, dignity, communication, and quality of life throughout treatment
- Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development
- Support the continued growth and development of Remedy Therapy as a collaborative clinical team
Our Clinical Approach
At Remedy Therapy, we believe ABA should be individualized, respectful, and meaningful. We focus on building relationships and creating opportunities for learning through play, natural routines, movement, and the client's own interests and motivation.
We strive to:
- Presume competence and honor each client's individual communication style
- Support autonomy and meaningful choice-making
- Use natural motivation and reinforcement rather than relying on compliance-based approaches
- Focus on functional communication, independence, regulation, social connection, and quality of life
- Create learning opportunities within activities that are meaningful to the client
- Consider the function and context of behavior rather than simply trying to eliminate behaviors
- Collaborate with families and other professionals rather than working in isolation
- Provide individualized support rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, Special Education, or a related field
- Current BCBA certification and good standing with the BACB
- State licensure as required
- Experience providing ABA services to children and/or individuals with developmental disabilities
- Experience conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans
- Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis, functional assessment, skill acquisition, and behavior support
- Experience supervising and supporting RBTs or other direct-care staff
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively with families, schools, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently while also being an active member of a collaborative team
- Commitment to ethical, compassionate, and client-centered care
What We Offer
- Flexible, community-based clinical work across home, school, daycare, and community settings
- Supportive and collaborative clinical team
- Opportunities for professional growth as our practice continues to expand
- Meaningful involvement in clinical decision-making and treatment planning
- A workplace that values autonomy, connection, and individualized care
- Opportunities to work with a variety of clients and clinical presentations
