What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sketchup Drafting position at Remedy Residential?
We are a residential design-build company. We specialize in remodels, additions and custom cabinetry
You:
- Have a good sense of humor

- Understand the value of following directions
Skills:
- Either or Both:
- Strong Sketchup skills with the ability to learn building related specifics like wall thicknesses, door and window callouts, base and trim details, every single thing about cabinets, countertops, tile, plumbing and lighting fixtures, and so much more
- Already know those details, have very strong computer skills, and want to learn to make 3D designs on Sketchup.
This could be an excellent position for a Project Manager who wants to do more than schedule and bid. Or, a student draftsperson who is willing to to feel the pressure of the construction world. Or, a contractor with excellent computer skills who is ready to hang their bags up.
What I'm saying is that, there will certainly need to be training. This is a niche position.
