- ️ About the Role: Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)
As a CHHA, you'll be providing essential personal care and support services in the comfort of your patients' homes. You'll follow an individualized care plan under the direction of a registered nurse or therapist, helping patients with daily tasks while preserving their dignity and independence.
️ Key Responsibilities:
Personal Care Assistance: Help patients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
Mobility Support: Assist with transfers, walking, exercises, and fall prevention
Monitor Vital Signs: Check and document temperature, pulse, and respiration during each visit
Meal Preparation: Assist with meals and feeding based on the patient's dietary plan
Medication Reminders: Prompt patients to take prescribed medications (no administration required)
Light Housekeeping: Change bed linens, keep the environment tidy and safe
Observe & Report: Monitor patient condition and communicate changes to clinical staff
Follow Care Plan: Deliver care based on each patient's personalized home health care plan
Requirements:
Current CHHA Certification through the California Department of Public Health
Reliable Transportation – You'll be traveling to patients' homes from Calabasas, Studio City, Sunland, Chatsworth, San Fernando & Surrounding Areas
CPR Certification – Current and valid
Strong Communication Skills – Fluent in spoken and written English
Empathy & Professionalism – Compassionate, respectful, and dedicated to patient-centered care
Home Health Experience – Preferred, but not required
