About the Company
Remediation Services, Inc. (RSI), uses a team approach to coordinate our resources. We are staffed with seasoned professionals, highly trained project managers, equipment operators and technicians. RSI’s personnel are trained in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.120 and maintain their annual eight-hour updates. RSI mobilizes its own work force to provide remedial construction services. RSI based in Independence, KS, is a premier nationwide contractor supplying innovative, cost-effective solutions to complex environmental remediation challenge.
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Laborer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general site labor and assist crews with environmental cleanup and construction activities
- Operate light-to-medium equipment such as skid steers, mini excavators, forklifts, and pressure washers
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
- Follow all site-specific safety and environmental protocols
- Ability to operate light/heavy equipment (preferred but not required)
- Willingness to follow safety protocols and wear required PPE
- Ability to work in teams and take direction from site leadership
- Capable of working in physically demanding environments in all weather conditions
Qualifications:
- 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification (preferred, but training can be provided)
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Six (6) months of construction or general labor experience preferred
- Work is performed outdoors in varied weather conditions
- Work may involve confined spaces, elevated work areas, and physical labor such as lifting, bending, and carrying
- Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Travel may be required
