Supply Chain Coordinator
Job Summary:
The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for shipping and receiving duties, unloading trucks and performing administrative tasks associated with the receipt of goods, storage of materials internally and coordination between external storage facilities, including paperwork and data entry.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Consolidate ship-together orders.
- Package future shipments by job and ship dates.
- Verify items received by matching the purchase order and the packing list/invoice.
- Inspect condition of items and resolve any discrepancies (in weight, quality, or unit price).
- Update and maintain data in the system for the received items.
- Prepare and upload invoice and packing list to current system.
- Pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped, including packing and preparation of shipping paperwork.
- Maintain acceptable efficiency rates of both quantity of products pulled as well as accuracy.
- Maintain bin/shelf integrity by ensuring pulling areas are consistently free of debris (empty cartons, box tops, etc.) and by keeping product organized on shelves.
- Carry or transport orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms with materials handling equipment, ensuring orders are staged properly.
- Operate any materials handling equipment safely and efficiently, as required.
- Assist in maintaining the security and safety of the warehouse.
- Assist, as needed, in placing incoming items in inventory.
- Receive and distribute incoming material.
- Conduct basic inspection of incoming material.
- Ensure accuracy of delivery dates from manufacturing facilities utilized by the company.
- Communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Maintain a high ethical standard of practice, including compliance with all company procedures.
- Additional duties as required.
Requirements and Preferred Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in a supply chain, purchasing, or warehouse environment.
- Ability to work independently.
- Demonstrated ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, clients, and staff.
- Strong computer competencies and experience using systems that support inventory management.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Calendar.
- Professional presentation skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and perform multifaceted projects in conjunction with daily activities.
- Forklift certified is a plus.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent

- Must have a valid driver license.
