Remedi SeniorCare is seeking a dynamic Order Entry Pharmacy Technician to join our team and make a difference in the lives of residents in long-term care facilities. As an Order Entry Pharmacy Technician, you'll play a crucial role in our pharmacy operations. Your responsibilities will include swiftly and accurately entering prescriptions into our Remedi SeniorCare Framework/DocuTrack pharmacy system. Additionally, you'll communicate with customers over the phone, providing quick and courteous responses to their needs.
Location:Charlotte, NC
Salary:$18 - $20 per hour (dependent upon experience)
Schedule: Four 10hr shifts plus every third weekend. Pharmacy is open from 8-8 M-F, 10-6 Sat & 12-3 Sun. Rotating schedule is required during weekdays.

Under the guidance of a pharmacist and in compliance with State law, Order Entry Pharmacy Technicians will be responsible for:
- Provide over the phone customers to doctors and nurses
- Efficient order entry and follow-up
- Troubleshooting prescription/patient data entry discrepancies
- Ensuring accurate and timely prescription/patient information input
- Collaborating with Order Entry leadership to meet department goals
- Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Must work with urgency and timeliness
- High school diploma or GED required
- Current registration as a Pharmacy Technicianwith the State Board of Pharmacyrequired
- Order entry experience
- Strong computer skills
- Thorough understanding of medical terminology and drug knowledge
- Math and analytical skills, with a focus on calculations
- Minimum of two (2) years working in a long-term care pharmacy preferred but not required
Salary : $18 - $20
