RemediSeniorCare is seeking a dynamic Order Entry Pharmacy Technician to join our team and make a difference in the lives of our patients.

Location: On site at our closed-door pharmacy (962 Dorset Rd, Troy)

Schedule: 2nd shift: The schedule offers either five 8 hour shifts or four 10 hour shifts, starting between 3pm-4pm. Weekend rotation is required.

Training: Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm or 2:00pm-10:30pm

Key Responsibilities

As an Order Entry Pharmacy Technician with Remedi SeniorCare, you'll play a crucial role in our pharmacy operations. Your responsibilities will include swiftly and accurately entering prescriptions into our Remedi SeniorCare Framework/DocuTrack pharmacy system. Additionally, you'll communicate with customers over the phone, providing quick and courteous responses to their needs.

Under the guidance of a pharmacist and in compliance with State law, Order Entry Pharmacy Technicians will be responsible for:

• Efficient order entry and follow-up
• Troubleshooting prescription/patient data entry discrepancies
• Ensuring accurate and timely prescription/patient information input
• Collaborating with Order Entry leadership to meet department goals
• Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders
• Must work with urgency and timeliness
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Current registration as a Certified Pharmacy Technician with the State Board of Pharmacy is required (good standing)
  
  

Skills & Abilities

• Strong computer skills
• Thorough understanding of medical terminology and drug knowledge
• Math and analytical skills, with a focus on calculations
• Minimum of two (2) years working in a long-term care pharmacy preferred but not required
