Our growing fleet maintenance shop is looking for a dependable and motivated Auto Technician to join our team. We maintain a variety of fleet vehicles and equipment and are looking for someone who takes pride in quality work, works well independently, and can keep vehicles safe and road-ready.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles
- Complete brake work, suspension repairs, steering components, electrical troubleshooting, and general mechanical repairs
- Conduct Pennsylvania State Inspections and emissions testing
- Perform routine services including oil changes, tires, filters, and fluid checks
- Maintain accurate repair records and communicate needed repairs clearly
- Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced shop environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification in automotive repair preferred.
- 3 years of automotive or fleet repair experience preferred
- Familiarity with fleet management software or digital work order systems is a plus.
- Pennsylvania State Inspection and emissions License preferred
- EPA Section 609 Certification (Motor Vehicle Air Conditioning) required for A/C repair work.
- Diesel experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to diagnose and repair vehicles independently
- Valid driver’s license required
- Hand and power tools required
- Experience operating rollback or other towing equipment
- Current DOT physical card or ability to acquire
- Strong work ethic and reliability are a must
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Prolonged periods of standing, bending, and working with tools and machinery.
