Join a team of technology, culinary, and logistics pioneers, backed by top-tier venture capitalists, and help us make great food more accessible. About The Role:The Regional Vice President will be responsible for overseeing the performance, growth, and operational excellence of a portfolio of 130 restaurants. This senior leadership role will ensure alignment with company goals, drive profitability, and foster a strong people-first culture. The RVP will lead a team of Market Directors, who each lead a team of Regional Managers, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to implement initiatives that enhance guest satisfaction, employee engagement, and financial performance this position will be based in the DMV area.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership: Provide visionary leadership to a portfolio of 130 restaurants on the East Coast, ensuring each location operates efficiently, meets sales targets, and upholds company standardsOperational Excellence: Implement and oversee operational standards and procedures, ensuring consistency in service, food quality, and guest experience across all restaurantsTeam Development: Lead, mentor, and develop Market Directors, Regional Managers, and General Managers to build high-performing teams and ensure leadership succession plans are in placeP&L Management: Drive financial performance by analyzing key metrics, managing budgets, and identifying opportunities for revenue growth and cost managementCompliance and Safety: Ensure all restaurants in the region comply with health, safety, and legal regulations, including food safety and employment lawsGuest Experience: Foster a guest-centric culture by ensuring exceptional service and resolving any escalated guest issues efficientlyEmployee Engagement: Champion company culture and values, promoting a positive work environment, high levels of employee engagement, and retentionGrowth Initiatives: Partner with the New Store Opening and Development teams on restaurant openings and market expansion opportunities within the regionCross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, HR, finance, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment with company objectives and initiativesCrisis Management: Act as a key decision-maker in response to crises or unexpected challenges impacting the region’s operationsThe Experience You Have:Experience: 10 years of leadership experience in multi-unit restaurant management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing a portfolio of 200 restaurantsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field; MBA preferredLeadership Skills: Strong ability to inspire and lead large, diverse teams. Proven success in driving operational performance, employee development, and financial results.Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of P&L management, budgeting, and financial analysis in a multi-unit settingCommunication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levelsProblem Solving: Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, especially under pressureFlexibility: Ability to travel frequently across the East Coast to ensure hands-on leadership and support for the teamRequirementsMust be 21 years old and legally authorized to work in the USMust be able to lift 50 poundsMust be able to stand for a full shift while workingMust have open availability, including night and weekend availabilityMust have the means of transportation and ability to travel to all restaurants that are assignedRole DetailsCompensation: $248,500Reports to: SVP, Restaurant OperationsMulti-Locations: East Coast United States (DMV, PA, NJ, MA) Travel RequiredWonder uses geographic-specific salary structures, which means the salary offered may vary depending on where the job is located.
