- $60K–$84K **ABOUT STARDUST** Stardust Garage (SDG) is a multi-use venue, cowork space, and creative hub in Austin. We host curated underground music programming, after-hours experiences, recurring series, and one-off events. Cowork by day, sound and light by night. We are growing into a real business — not a side project — and we need an operator who can hold the wheel while the founder builds what is next. **THE ROLE** We are hiring our Operations Manager — the person who runs the room. You will own night-of execution of every event, coordinate the on-site team, and keep the wheels turning across our weekly programming. You are the calm, capable adult in the chaos. **WHAT YOU WILL OWN**
- End-to-end execution of after-hours and late-night events (typically Thursday–Sunday)
- Pre-event walkthrough, day-of setup, talent and vendor coordination, run-of-show, load-out
- Real-time decision authority during programming
- Post-event debrief and financial reconciliation
- Coordination of bar, security, sound, lighting, and door staff
- Management of relationships with DJs, artists, promoters, and recurring series partners
- Operational improvements and lightweight systems (AI/automation where it helps)
- Stretch: oversight of social media execution **WHO YOU ARE**
- 3 years running operations for a venue, nightclub, music festival, hospitality concept, production company, or events organization
- Self-directed; calm in fast-moving environments
- Understand and respect the underground music and events scene
- Clean communicator; no drama, no last-minute surprises
- Comfortable with technology and curious about AI tools **COMP & SCHEDULE** - $60K–$72K base; stretch to $84K if you take on social media oversight
- Wednesday–Sunday with Mon/Tue off
