Compensation: $85,000–$95,000 base salary performance-based bonuses

Schedule: Monday–Friday, with flexibility for customer needs and occasional evenings or weekends
Travel: Frequent local and domestic travel within the assigned territory

About the Role

REMA Tip Top North America is seeking a relationship-driven Account Manager to grow our presence throughout the Elko, Nevada area and surrounding mining and industrial markets. This role focuses on building lasting customer partnerships, developing new business, and providing solutions that help customers improve the performance and reliability of their operations.

The ideal candidate has experience in industrial sales, account management, or business development, preferably within hard-rock mining or related industries. This is an opportunity to manage customer relationships, identify new opportunities, and contribute directly to the growth of an established industrial business.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to drive satisfaction, retention, and long-term growth.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, warm calling, referrals, and market research.
• Manage multiple customer accounts and develop solutions based on their operational needs.
• Promote REMA Tip Top products and services, including conveyor belt solutions, rubber lining, and industrial wear protection.
• Visit customer sites to understand operational challenges, identify opportunities, and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Accurately measure pipes, conveyor belts, and containment areas using a tape measure to support customer needs and product fit.
• Conduct customer meetings, technical presentations, and product demonstrations.
• Collaborate with internal sales, marketing, operations, and service teams to deliver effective customer solutions.
• Maintain accurate customer records, sales pipelines, and account activity in CRM systems.
• Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitive activity to identify opportunities for business growth.
• Represent REMA Tip Top at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in account management, direct sales, or business development, preferably in mining or industrial markets.
• Experience with hard-rock mining, conveyors, industrial maintenance, sand and gravel, power generation, coal, chemical processing, or pulp and paper is preferred.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Ability to identify customer needs, solve problems, and develop practical solutions.
• Comfortable conducting customer visits and working in industrial or mining environments.
• Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure for field measurements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and CRM applications.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to independently manage a territory, prioritize opportunities, and meet business goals.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary of $85,000–$95,000, based on experience and qualifications.

Work Environment & Travel

This position involves frequent driving throughout the assigned territory, including visits to mines, processing facilities, industrial customer sites, trade shows, and company meetings.

Work environments may include offices, mines, manufacturing facilities, and other industrial locations. Employees may encounter uneven terrain, stairs, ladders, heavy machinery, loud noise, dust, and changing temperatures. Site visits may occasionally require working at heights or in confined spaces.

Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hats, safety glasses, steel-toed boots, hearing protection, and fall protection when required, must be used in accordance with site-specific safety procedures.

The role requires extended periods of sitting while driving or working at a computer, as well as standing, walking, and moving throughout customer facilities. Occasional lifting and carrying of materials weighing up to 25 pounds may be required.
