Senior Accountant

Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support our company's financial operations. This position oversees the month-end close process, ensures financial accuracy, and maintains strong internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Prepare and review general ledger entries and reconciliations.
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards.
• Review project financials, including cost tracking and revenue recognition.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper accounting for projects.
• Prepare financial analysis and assist with variance reporting.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Help with year-end audits and tax filings as needed.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of month-end close and financial reporting processes.
• Experience with project accounting and cost tracking.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
