Job Title: Sr. Digital Marketing Director

Responsibilities
Digital Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive digital strategy aligned with the campaign’s goals and target demographics.
- Manage digital budgets across platforms to ensure efficient spend and maximum ROI.
- Lead and manage a digital team including social media managers, content creators, ad buyers, email strategists, and data analysts.
Content Creation & Messaging
- Oversee the creation of compelling content across all digital platforms (video, graphics, text) to drive engagement, donations, and voter support.
- Ensure brand consistency and message alignment with the broader campaign strategy.
- Monitor digital trends and rapidly respond to political developments with real-time content.
Fundraising & List Building
- Manage email and SMS fundraising programs, including testing, targeting, segmentation, and optimization.
- Grow and maintain supporter databases through digital acquisition strategies and partnerships.
Digital Advertising
- Plan and execute paid advertising campaigns (Facebook, Google, YouTube, programmatic, etc.).
- Work with external vendors and platforms to optimize targeting, creative, and performance.
Data & Analytics
- Track and analyze digital metrics (impressions, CTR, engagement, conversions) to measure effectiveness and inform decisions.
- Use voter and supporter data to inform content, outreach, and digital organizing.
Compliance & Security
- Ensure all digital activities comply with relevant election laws, privacy standards, and platform policies.
- Implement cybersecurity protocols to protect campaign assets and data.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in digital strategy or online marketing, preferably with political campaigns, advocacy organizations, or political consulting.
- Strong understanding of digital tools, platforms, and trends in political campaigning.
- Proven experience managing budgets and leading digital teams in high-pressure environments.
- Expertise in social media platforms, CRMs, ad buying, email marketing tools, and analytics platforms.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Deep commitment to the campaign’s mission, values, and goals.
