Primary Responsibilities
ReLogic is seeking a full-time Mechanical Drafter at our corporate office in Huntsville, AL. This role will support the organization across engineering drawing development, Technical Data Package (TDP) creation, and configuration-controlled data management for Department of War programs.
This position is focused on execution of engineering documentation to support manufacturing, repair, and sustainment activities. It works alongside Technical Managers, engineers, and manufacturing teams to ensure engineering data is complete, accurate, and usable in real-world applications.
The right candidate will be able to take models, scan data, and engineering inputs and produce clear, production-ready drawings and TDPs that meet program and quality requirements.
This is full-time salaried position with full benefits offered. Approximately 10% of travel is expected.

- Develop and maintain Technical Data Packages (TDPs) for DoD Programs of Record
- Create detailed engineering drawings (2D/3D) from CAD models, scan data, and engineering inputs
- Apply GD&T and drafting standards to ensure manufacturability and clarity
- Translate engineering models and concepts into production-ready documentation
- Support reverse engineering workflows, including integration of scan-derived geometry into drawings
- Ensure drawings and TDPs align with real-world manufacturing and depot processes
- Maintain configuration-controlled engineering data, including revisions, versioning, and release processes
- Coordinate with Engineering and Quality to ensure requirements are understood and executed
- Support development of repeatable workflows for digital engineering and technical data generation
- Operates with autonomy, accountability, and attention to detail
- Fits within a dynamic small business environment and supports multiple programs
- Active Secret security clearance or ability to receive and maintain clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred
- 3–8 years of experience in mechanical drafting or engineering documentation
- Experience creating engineering drawings for manufacturing or repair
- Strong CAD experience (SolidWorks, NX, Creo, or similar)
- Solid understanding of GD&T and drawing standards
- Ability to produce clear, complete, and production-ready documentation
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work across teams in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- SolidWorks drafting experience preferred
- Experience with Technical Data Packages (TDPs) in DoW or aerospace environments preferred
- Experience with PDM/PLM or configuration management systems preferred
- Familiarity with reverse engineering and 3D scan data
- Ability to work with controlled or secure data environments
