The Role
We are hiring a Senior Content Writer to own written content production across client and internal initiatives. This role requires strong execution, strategic thinking, and intellectual curiosity. You will be responsible not only for writing, but also for developing a deep understanding of our clients, their industries, and their audiences. We believe that as AI becomes increasingly prevalent in the workplace it is everyone’s job to leverage this technology. We expect this role to lead the charge in integrating AI into our content production process without sacrificing content quality standards.
You will conduct background research, interview key stakeholders, and synthesize complex information into clear, credible content. As a small agency, everyone’s contribution matters. You are expected to actively participate in shaping ideas, improving messaging, and strengthening the overall quality of our work while driving operational excellence.
This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys learning, asks thoughtful questions, and takes pride in becoming conversant and credible across multiple industries.
Responsibilities
- Write long-form content, including blog posts, articles, case studies, whitepapers, landing pages, and website pages.
- Write short-form content, including compelling brand and advertising copy.
- Conduct independent research to understand client industries, products, and competitive landscapes
- Interview internal and client-side stakeholders to extract insights and expertise
- Translate complex ideas into simple, clear, and credible language
- Collaborate with strategy, digital, and client services to align content with campaign and business goals
- Contribute ideas and recommendations to improve content effectiveness and clarity
- Maintain consistency in voice, structure, and quality across projects
- Incorporate feedback quickly and accurately
- Meet deadlines reliably without follow-ups
- Surface gaps, risks, or unclear direction early rather than guessing
Requirements
- 4 plus years of professional content writing experience, preferably B2B or agency side
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically about content, not just execute assignments
- Strong research, interviewing, synthesis, and organization skills
- Comfortable engaging with executives and subject matter experts
- Ability to quickly learn new industries and speak credibly about complex topics
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a small team
- High level of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail
- Comfortable interacting regularly with clients directly
Nice to Have
- Experience in energy, solar, healthcare, or other technical industries
- SEO content experience with a focus on intent, structure, and clarity rather than keyword stuffing
- Experience producing thought leadership or educational long-form content.
