Job Summary: Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, the Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for performing warehouse duties and functions to support inventory integrity, order processing – picking, packing, sorting, and general warehouse, and maintenance duties to ensure a safe, clean, and orderly work environment.
Responsibilities: (Essential Duties and Responsibilities)
- Job functions include unloading, stocking, sorting, labeling, picking, packing, replenishing, auditing, and shipping procedures
- Count material and/or equipment in stock and posts totals to inventory record
- Transport equipment within the warehouse, weighing and organizing various sizes and weights of equipment
- Organize product in the correct warehouse lane once inventoried
- Order Picking/Filling-Pick orders for shipment
- Checks, verifies, and audits merchandise to ensure received merchandise is as ordered and not damaged or defective
- Utilize an iPad to track various aspects of medical equipment
- Utilize Salesforce application to input received equipment information, upload equipment images, complete inventory additions and distributions to relieve inventory
- Receives, counts and records shipment data
- Matches packing list information to actual packed merchandise
- Pack, unpack, and mark stock items, using identification tag, stamp, or other labeling equipment
- Record receiving data onto iPad/Scanner
- Identify incorrect/short, shipped items, and immediately notify supervisor
- Operate heavy duty pallet jack, freight scales and other necessary equipment
- Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or other designated areas
- Loading and unloading shipment truck when product is delivered or ready to be sent out as needed
- Receive inbound returns and follow the established work instructions to complete the RMA
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations
- Perform other duties and services as assigned by the Warehouse Manager
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required)
- Minimum of two (2) years of warehouse inventory control experience
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to pass a criminal background screening and drug screen as required
Characteristics of the Position (Competencies, Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Motivated, collaborative, team player
- Basic photography skill on handheld devices, such as an iPad, preferred
- Salesforce preferred
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Ability to push, pull, sit, stand, crouch, reach, and have visual acuity
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Warehouse environment – position requires standard warehouse equipment and supplies such as pallet jack, freight scale, etc.
- The worker is subject to both environmental conditions, activities occur inside and outside
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
- Full Time – Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm
- Overtime as needed, but not required
- 40 hours per week
