What are the responsibilities and job description for the Debt Negotiator position at Relin, Goldstein & Crane, LLP?
Excellent entry level opportunity at a law office for an individual who has strong verbal communication skills and experience with updating client systems. Pay is based on experience. Experience is preferred but we are open to motivated candidates with speaking and listening skills and the willingness to learn. This position is on site.
Essential Duties:
Answer inbound and make outbound calls to collect on past due bills. Actively listen to consumers and determine if the debt can be collected. Heavy emphasis on negotiations.
Must be able to update multiple computer systems with details of call interactions and abide by strict scripts for customer interaction.
Experience:
- Debt Collection: 1 year (Preferred)

- Maintain Fair Credit Reporting
- Maintain daily call volumes as assigned by management.
- Other duties may be assigned by management.
- Flexible positive attitude with the desire to do the right thing for our members
- Drug/Background check required

Education/Experience: An equivalent combination of the following:
- High School Diploma/Equivalency required. Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
