The Patient Services Representative is an essential part of Augusta Oncology, receiving all inbound calls to our practice, carefully assessing the needs of patients and other callers, coordinating patient scheduling and communication activities, and routing calls to the appropriate team member when needed. The ideal candidate will have previous call center and/or customer service experience, healthcare experience, and the ability to multitask effectively and efficiently. Strong data entry skills are a plus.

Requirements
- Candidates for this position are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19*
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to effectively communicate using proper English and grammar
- Basic computer skills, as well as the ability to navigate through assigned computer programs and take notes while speaking with phone prospects
- Ability to effectively and professionally communicate in a one-on-one and team environment
- The ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines
- Effective time management and the ability to multitask
