The Content Marketing Specialist produces timely, valuable content for healthcare clinicians, customers, and prospects aiming to boost organic traffic, engagement, conversion, and share of voice. They author, edit, and manage various content formats, working with colleagues, experts, freelance writers, and contributors to ensure accuracy, professionalism, and trustworthiness across our brands.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
* Authors and oversees the creation of content in all formats to grow organic traffic and engagement, retain customers, and attract prospects
* Works jointly with marketing team members to ensure alignment on campaign objectives, content distribution strategies, SEO keywords, and effective GenAI tools.
* Executes on content strategies guided by Content Marketing Managers around thought leadership, SEO, engagement, and products aligned with our corporate goals and products
* Collaborates across Relias departments, with vendors and contractors, internal and external subject matter experts, freelance writers, and other content contributors to create and brainstorm content topics
* Ensures all content assets are accurate, professional, and foster trust and credibility across our brands
YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE:
* Marketing Content: Independently generates content ideas that are relevant to the target audience and aligned with the chosen channel.
* Keyword Optimization: Effectively integrates target keywords into various types of content, ensuring both relevance and readability while adhering to SEO best practices.
* Marketing Strategy: Translates strategies into actionable plans with clear milestones, coordinating with team members to ensure successful execution.
* Vendor Management: Able to select appropriate vendors by conducting thorough evaluations using defined metrics and understands basics of contract management and compliance.
* Problem Solving: Demonstrates a willingness to learn from mistakes/failures to better adapt behavior effectively.
* Time Management: Skill in efficiently planning, prioritizing, and distributing time for tasks, activities, and responsibilities - plans for obstacles or possible delays.
* 2 years of experience
* Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or related area
IT WOULD BE IDEAL IF YOU HAVE:
* Experience working in software, healthcare, education, or technology
* Experience with content management systems (WordPress, Craft, etc.) Google Analytics, Jira Workforce Management, and Salesforce
* Content Marketing and SEO certification

IN OFFICE REQUIREMENT:
Relias values collaboration and wants to ensure that our team members have opportunities to work with their teams regularly for professional development opportunities. Our flexible hybrid work environment requires that you live in the state of North Carolina, within a commutable distance to our office (~1-hour commute). You would be expected to work in our Morrisville, NC Headquarters (Raleigh/Durham) approximately 30 days/quarter.
