Home Care Billing Specialist

Reliant, a pediatric, skilled and private duty nursing agency in NJ. We are looking for a part time Billing specialist to cover billing. You will handle the processing of incoming payments along with the issuing of necessary paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure payments are being made in accordance with the terms of the contract
• Correct any billing issues making any necessary adjustments, while communicating these changes to the contract and filing appeals when necessary
• Ensure that A/R payments are current and all delinquent accounts are being followed up on in a timely fashion
• Collection and follow up on all outstanding contracts
• Provide solutions to any relative problems of clients
• Verify that rates billed are in accordance with contractual terms
  
  

Correct system issues pertaining to billing, patients and or caregivers as directed by management

Skills**

• Previous home care billing experience required
• Adherence to laws and best practices in regards to dealing with customers and data
• Comfortable dealing with numbers and the processing of financial information
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel) and ER software (JDE or other)
• Proficiency in English
• Spanish speaking a plus
• Results-driven and patient
• High degree of attention to detail and trustworthiness
