Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Commercial AVL Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for the installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of commercial AVL systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering top-tier commercial AVL solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation & Setup: Install, test, and configure AVL equipment, including projectors, displays, speakers, microphones, video conferencing systems, and control interfaces.
- Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve technical issues with commercial AVL systems, ensuring optimal performance.
- System Commissioning: Verify proper system functionality by performing final testing, calibrations, and client training.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to deliver high-quality AVL solutions.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of installations, configurations, and service reports.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Three years in professional AVL installation and troubleshooting preferred.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of AVL signal flow, wiring, networking for AVL systems, and control system programming (Crestron, Extron, AMX, etc.).
- Certifications: CTS, CTS-I, or equivalent industry certifications preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work on ladders/lifts, and travel to client sites as needed.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze and resolve complex AVL issues efficiently.
- Team Player: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
- Valid Driver's License
