Duties
- Perform foundation repairs, including underpinning, piering, and stabilization using specialized tools and heavy equipment.
- Interpret technical drawings, construction plans, and blueprints to accurately execute foundation and structural work.
- Conduct thorough inspections of existing structures to identify issues related to settling, cracking, or water damage, then develop effective repair strategies.
- Install and repair building materials such as concrete, stucco, caulking, trim carpentry, and hardscape features to enhance structural integrity.
- Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely while adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with project managers to estimate costs, prepare construction estimates, and manage project timelines efficiently.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and client specifications through diligent construction inspection.
- Assist with outdoor work activities including landscaping, window installation, flooring installation, tile laying, cabinet installation, plastering, and electrical or plumbing upgrades as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven construction experience with a focus on foundation repair or related building projects.
- Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings and construction plans.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation.
- Knowledge of building materials installation such as stucco, caulking, trim carpentry, flooring, tile laying, and hardscape features.
- Experience in outdoor work environments across various construction projects.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and adherence to OSHA standards during all phases of construction.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Electrical experience or plumbing knowledge is a plus for integrated repair solutions.
