Duties & Responsibilities

As a Revenue Cycle Representative at RFS, you will:

• Review and work denied, rejected, and unpaid claims
• Process appeals when necessary
• Follow up with medical insurance payers and resolve claim-related issues
• Submit claims, retrieve reports and work rejections
• Submit deposits for processing in a timely manner
• Process scanned mail as directed
• Serve as the primary point of contact with insurance providers to ensure accurate claim resolutions.
• Answer inquiries, assist with claim issues, and act as a liaison between insurance companies, healthcare providers, and patients

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of medical office revenue cycle experience
• Medical office insurance and medical claims management experience is a must
• Knowledge of medical and insurance terminology, CPT/ICD-10 coding, billing forms.
• Familiarity with payer portals like Availity, clearinghouse platforms such as TriZetto, and various EMR platforms.
• Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care payers.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 (based on experience).

Work Environment

Pay Range Disclosure

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the pay range for this position is $18.00/hour to $20.00/hour to start.
