If you are passionate about problem-solving, enjoy working in dynamic environments, and are eager to make a direct impact on customer success, this is an excellent opportunity to advance your career.ResponsibilitiesInstall, replace, and commission CNC machine tools and controls at customer locationsTroubleshoot and repair fluid and electrical servo-activated systemsPerform geometrical leveling and alignment of CNC machinesDiagnose and repair mechanical components, including spindle units and gearboxesConduct mechanical troubleshooting of closed and open loop axes control systemsAdjust CNC geometry and perform positioning axis compensationSet up and troubleshoot 5-axis Traori systemsConfigure and maintain automatic tool changers and tool management systemsUtilize positioning, straightness, and geometry measuring lasers for machine alignmentLead acceptance testing with customers to ensure equipment meets specificationsProvide maintenance training and hands-on support to customersMentor and train junior service engineers in the fieldCommunicate customer feedback and product performance insights to managementQualificationsHigh school diploma required; technical degree or equivalent experience preferred4 years of experience in the machine tool field, including maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and repairsStrong understanding of electrical and mechanical principlesProficient in interpreting electrical and fluid schematicsAbility to read engineering blueprints and use hand toolsExperience with personal computers and various software applicationsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work effectively in demanding situations and adapt to varying workloadsWillingness and ability to travel up to 85%, primarily domestically with some international assignmentsAbility to access and navigate all areas of client facilitiesPreferred: Electrical background, military experience, knowledge of geometry, experience with hard pipes (rigid tubing), fluids (coolant, lubrication oil, hydraulic fluid), OSHA 10 or 30 certification, and generator maintenancePhysical RequirementsAbility to sit for extended periods and work on a computerMust be able to lift up to 15 pounds as needed
