Responsibilities:

• The Scheduler’s primary role is to ensure that all patients receive the best service possible and at the required staffing levels.
• Coordinate and schedule therapy services across all seven home health entities, ensuring timely and efficient care for patients while maintaining compliance with agency and regulatory requirements
• Works closely with Branch Manager and Clinical Supervisors to provide appropriate staffing for each individual client under the branch to ensure that all open cases are staffed timely and based on the individualized patient’s Plan of Care (POC).
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of physician orders, including entering, tracking, and following up on all required documentation to support patient care and compliance.
• Schedules all visits to ensure that regulatory deadlines are met, and staffing resources are optimized
• Utilizes geographical staffing patterns to promote efficient, effective coverage in all service areas·
• Responsible for ordering nursing supplies, answering phones and emails, and responding to scheduling inquiries from patients and co-workers in a timely and professional fashion.

Qualifications:

• Excellent typing skills and developed clerical and computer skills required
• Strong ability to communicate in a professional manner, both verbal and written
• Proficiency in MS Word & Excel, Homecare Homebase, Forcura and MedLine
• Attention to detail
