Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Reliant at Home Care in Pennsylvania. In this role, you will provide essential support and companionship to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and well-being. Your contributions will be vital in making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Prepare meals and assist with dietary needs as required.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure compliance with care plans.
- Assist with mobility and physical support using appropriate techniques.
- Foster a respectful and trusting relationship with clients and their families.
Qualifications * Proven experience as a caregiver or similar role in home care or healthcare settings.
- Knowledge of first aid, CPR, and basic patient care practices.
- Ability to assist with ADLs and provide compassionate support.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and families.
- Familiarity with Alzheimer’s or dementia care is a plus.
- Valid driver's license may be required depending on client needs.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
