Job Function
1. Maintains housekeeping.

1. Safe operation of the automated storage and retrieval system and overhead crane.
2. For outgoing material, Receive orders to be filled.
3. Enter items into system to be retrieved.
4. Count and remove material from cassette.
5. Tag, band and stage material to be loaded onto truck.
6. Measure and record any random lengths.
7. Record heat numbers on all items worked.
8. For restocking material, perform computer search for empty cassettes.
9. Using overhead crane, remove material from overstock location, remove packaging material (banding, burlap, etc.), and move to Kasto workstation.
10. Place material in cassette.
11. Place ‘put-up tag’ in cassette with material.
12. Return cassette to storage system.
