Position Overview
The Machine Operator is responsible for the setup, adjustment, troubleshooting, and operation of automated machine centers used in manufacturing operations.
Essential Responsibilities
- Operate manufacturing equipment and automated machine centers.
- Troubleshoot machine issues and perform basic adjustments.
- Perform product inspection, testing, assembly, and packing.
- Complete quality documentation and paperwork.
- Meet production goals and targets.
- Perform material handling using pallet jacks, carts, hand trucks, and forklifts.
- Cross-train on other work centers and machines.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications
- Prior automated machine operator experience.
- Ability to use precision measuring equipment such as:
- Vernier calipers
- Micrometers
- Dial indicators
- Bore gauges
- Gauge pins
- CNC experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to perform geometric and trigonometric calculations.
- Forklift certification or willingness to become certified.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
