POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Data Science Analyst will support our product, sales, leadership and marketing
teams with insights from analyzing the raw and curated data.
JOB SCOPE: This position requires employees to perform duties with minimal supervision while operating from the
established direction and instruction of the Director of Data Management & Analytics.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES: The Data Science Analyst will work on analyzing the datasets using various tools
along with following duties:
• Research and devise innovative statistical models for data analysis
• Analyze data for trends and patterns and interpret data with clear objectives in mind
• Implement analytical models in production by collaborating with Data Team and Product Owners
• Design, build, and deploy end-to-end ML pipelines, and enhance or monitor existing production workflows
• Identify necessary data and methodologies; collect, integrate, analyze and interpret data
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and tech teams to implement analytical models in production, plan and
execute cross-functional data projects, while handling technical tasks to deliver excellent results to
stakeholders and requestors
• Monitor scheduled Python jobs, identify failures, and implement fixes
• Exploratory data analysis (e.g., clustering/segmentation) to generate new insights & inform our product
recommendation roadmap
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• 1-2 years of experience in Data science or related field
• Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance or Statistics
• Experienced in using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SQL, etc.) to manipulate data and draw
insights from data sets.
• Ongoing learning of techniques in data analysis, data extraction and data mining
• Preferred: Strong Math skills (e.g., statistics, Algebra)
• Preferred: Expert SQL Knowledge and R/Python skills
• Preferred: 2 years of experience with Modeling/Data Science or related.
