General Maintenance Technician
We are a rapidly growing plastics manufacturing company, in Aberdeen, looking to for hard-working individuals to join our maintenance team.This position provides an opportunity to grow in the maintenance field and gain valuable experience.
- 2 years’ machinery repair/maintenance experience.
- PLC Experience Required
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their design, uses, repair, and maintenance.
- Strong electrical/mechanical skills.
- Ability to understand or learn schematics/blueprints and utilize sketches or instruction, to construct tools. gauges, fixtures and replacement parts.
- Experience with Hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
- Demonstrate problem solving skills.
- Must be able to lift 45 lbs.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal direction
- Must be able to pass a basic math examination
- PC skills and parts research is a plus.
- Diagnose and perform minor and routine maintenance/repair in a timely and professional manner.
- Complete special projects, as may be assigned and prioritized by the Maintenance Manager.
- Maintain proper equipment, and equipment inventory to ensure warranty compliance.
- Must be available to perform effective emergency on-call maintenance, as required.
- Perform, and report on, all work according to the safety standards of the company, OSHA and health codes. Perform work area clean-up on a weekly basis.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
