Human Resources Professional, Training – Human Resources - $24.96/Hr

FT 40 Hr/wk Provides effective onboarding to new hire employees to ensure success in their new positions and supports the Human Resources department in professional development. Responsibilities include: coordinating trainings, Agency training compliance support, HR daily compliance tracking, and staff development. This role will teach designated trainings such as CPR/FA/AED, develop and update trainings as necessary, track and process staff attendance, and system profiles, tracks and populates attendance records, due dates, reminders, and registrations, coordinates New Hire Orientation and basic trainings, and other professional development coordination.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Implement Agency Professional Development Plan in compliance with regulatory entities (CARF, DMHAS; State & Federal) and make changes as deemed appropriate
· Manage program within budget guidelines
· Teach designated trainings to include but not limited to Cultural Diversity, FA/CPR, Personnel & Safety.
· Develop and update trainings as necessary to address changing needs of the Agency
· Utilize and promote technology for the use of webinars, virtual and online training
· Populate the electronic system (Relias) with employee information and designate the appropriate required training profile consistent with employee role.
· Administer Training system with training attendance records, due dates, reminders, and registrations.
· Process & track internal and external staff trainings: New Hire, Basic, Advanced & Staff Development
· Coordinate and schedule Agency Mandatory new Hire and Basic Training Days: includes set up of technology, room reservation, refreshments, clean up, attendance sheets, materials, tests, training evals.
· Coordinate and schedule Agency Monthly New Hire Orientation Week (monthly): includes set up, clean up, room designations and any other designated trainings/educational sessions
· Maintain employee electronic training system i.e.: tracking certifications and Professional licensures for renewals and run reports. Notify supervisors of employees that did not meet standards. Ensure renewal requirements are met.
· Run reports as needed to ensure training compliance and for Appraisal training rating
· Support HR department in Recruitment.
· Coordinate and maintain trainings to be designated for CEU’s
· Maintain and promote Agency Resource Library
· Participate in Agency TAD/Cultural Diversity committee and Safety Committee
· Participate in regional Multicultural Meetings to enhance cultural competency provided to Agency employees
· Process tuition reimbursement per Agency policy
· Work with Agency Development Director to market designated trainings to outside entities; coordinate and prepare materials and invoices for trainings.
· Prepare training section for CARF accreditation.
· Engage in continuous concerted efforts to access, obtain, respond to pertinent agency information/communications and disseminate as appropriate
· Other responsibilities of Reliance House staff, such as participation in Agency events, adhering to agency policies and procedures, training requirements, other job related duties as assigned.
· Provide working conditions that maximize safety for staff and members
· Perform duties while demonstrating Agency Core Competencies and values
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or in a related field
- 2 or more years of previous work experience required
- Experience supervising others preferred
- Valid CT Driver’s License, vehicle registration and insurance required
- Good driving record
