Plant Production Worker - Bulk Tankers

Summary: This position is responsible for safely transferring products via pumps and valves from bulk tanks and blending systems, ensuring product quality and environmental compliance. The role requires working both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.

Essential duties of Position:

• Safely load and unload inbound and outbound tanker trucks according to SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
• Use pumps, hoses, valves, and meters to transfer liquids from bulk tanks or blenders.
• Verify tanker cleanliness and perform pre-load inspections.
• Collect samples and conduct basic visual or physical checks as needed.
• Perform scale-in/scale-out procedures and complete shipping/receiving documentation.
• Transfer finished product from blenders to designated stock tanks.
• Conduct inventory checks and ensure accurate recording of bulk tank levels.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, including outdoor loading zones.
• Follow all safety procedures and report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns.
• Support cross-functional tasks in the plant as needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures precisely
• Great communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate pumps, valves, and hoses safely

Qualifications:

• High School/GED (required)
• 1 year of experience in bulk liquid handling, tank farm operations, or similar industrial work (preferred)
• Must be comfortable working in outdoor environments year-round, including in rain, snow, or high heat (required)
