Summary The Production Technician Level B is a designated as a midline Production Technician position.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand/lift weight up to or more than 70 lbs. Employee may lie, stand, or sit for an extended amount of time, working in extreme weather conditions, and changing environments; may be asked to work in confined spaces.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include The Following
- Follows all policies and procedures
- Demonstrate ability to exceed performance of production technician level C duties and responsibilities
- Rebuild all legacy and 10K on highway products
- Ability to fully dynometer test all legacy and 10K on highway products
- Use and excellent proficiency on Allison Extranet
- Repair all legacy and 10K on highway products
- Must have reflash account
- Recognize bad/defective parts
- Must have all necessary legacy and 10K rebuild tools (non- Allison specialty tools)
- Receive daily assignments from supervisor
- Organized record keeping or some filing may be required
- Other duties may be assigned

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) desired
- Clean driving record desired
- Company forklift certification
- E-learn online training complete
- Strong mechanical ability
- 75% knowledge of transmission operation and functions
- Good reading, writing, and verbal skills
