Masker Supervisor

Our client, a Springfield metal company is currently seeking a Masking Supervisor for their masking department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and plating/masking experience with a proven ability to lead and motivate a team. As a Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Full time, temp-hire opportunity!DutiesProven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment. Will have 10-12 maskers to supervise.Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.Must have previous plating and masking experienceMust be able to work with schematic drawings, masking instructions and specifications outlining areas to be protected.Ability to read, write and understand verbal and written instructionsMust be able to work with cleaning solvents and/or chemicals used in waxing and/or removing wax from parts, painting parts as a mask using various paints, thinners, and solvents, or cleaning residue off of parts as needed.Must make proper use of fixtures, tapes, wax and other materialsLifting up to 50 lbs.Hand and wrist strength is required. Must be able to perform detailed repetitive work.Must be physically able to work in humid/hot environments and tolerate odors of chemicals. Must not be allergic or sensitive to chemicalsSchedule:1st shift: 6:00am – 4:30pm Monday through Friday and alternating Saturdays from 6:00am – 11:00 based on production needs.Pay:$25-30/hr based on experienceMust be able to read, write and speak English and must pass a FAA drug screen.You should be proficient in:Quality Inspection ExperienceLeadership / People ManagementExperience in a Manufacturing EnvironmentID:qnkTyx
