Local company seeking out Machine Technicians all shifts. Immediate opening! Long term, full time opportunity available!
Machine Technician Duties:
- The Machine Technician must be proficient in the basic operation of card conversion cell equipment.
- Operator will load, and operate all equipment in a card cell and make basic machine adjustments as required.
- Will be proficient in changing wrapper film and tear tape and in making minor adjustments to the slitting knives and in making tooling adjustments on the Ruge & Singer which includes changing chisels and anvils when required to maintain cut quality.
- Performs simple repairs and makes changes to set-up parameters in order to compensate for changes in material and sheet registration.
- Assists in set-up activities which includes but is not limited to changing cutter shafts, ME tooling and adjusting conveyors, scales, guides, rails and setting feeder and machine parameters.
- Maintains Production, Quality, Safety and TPM standards.
- Maintains accurate records, generates required production/safety/quality documents and performs good receipt activities in SAP.
- Performs material handling duties required to support the card conversion processes.
- Trains new card conversion operators as required.
- Must communicate effectively with team members and with Supervision/Group Leader. Requires adequate English ability to understand operating manuals, procedures, work instructions and follow operational direction.
Schedule:
- 1st shift: (6:30am-2:30pm)
- 2nd shift: (2:30pm-10:30pm)
- 3rd shift: (10:30pm-6:30am)
Pay: $18-26/hr, depending on experience
