Job Overview
As a Project Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing architectural sheet metal and facade projects from contract award through final completion. You'll coordinate closely with field crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to keep projects on schedule, within budget, and built to spec.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of architectural sheet metal and facade projects, including planning, scheduling, procurement, and closeout
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, general contractors, and design teams
- Review project drawings, specifications, and submittals for accuracy and constructability
- Track budgets, change orders, and job costs to ensure financial performance
- Coordinate material deliveries and lead times with the shop and suppliers
- Conduct regular site visits and progress meetings
- Identify and resolve project issues proactively before they impact schedule or cost
What We're Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience in construction project management, ideally in sheet metal, facades, glazing, or a related specialty trade
- Familiarity with reading architectural drawings and construction documents
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects at once
- Clear communicator — comfortable working with field crews, clients, and GCs alike
- Proficiency with standard PM tools (email, scheduling software, Excel or similar)
- A self-starter attitude with a willingness to learn the trade inside and out
Nice to Have
- Experience with architectural sheet metal, rainscreen systems, metal panels, or building envelope work
- Exposure to estimating or preconstruction
