Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Residential Electrician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in residential electrical systems, troubleshooting, remodels, and repairs. This role requires someone who takes pride in their workmanship, maintains a professional attitude with customers, and works safely and efficiently in residential environments.
This role will focus primarily on the installation, change, repair and maintenance of residential electrical systems for our residential remodeling customers.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues in residential homes and provide effective solutions
- Perform both rough-in and trim work for new circuits, wiring, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures and panels for remodel projects.
- Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes and safety standards
- Communicate professionally with homeowners regarding work performed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Complete work orders and documentation accurately
- Support complex appliance relocations, installations, etc.
- Collaborate with contractors, plumbers and estimators to create the best experience and work quality for the customer.
Qualifications Needed:
Valid NC State Licensure is a plus but not required
In order to qualify for this role, you need a minimum 3 years of experience as an electrician for residential or multi-family housing - either as an apprentice or independent electrician. In addition, we expect demonstrated experience in the following areas:
- Good understanding of residential local and national electrical building code
- Understanding of residential electrical systems and schematics with ability to read blueprints
- Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems and troubleshooting
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills and experience
- Dependable, friendly and thorough
- Valid Driver's License and must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check
