Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems across various industrial and commercial projects. This role requires a strong understanding of welding techniques, blueprint reading, and mechanical systems, with experience in construction, manufacturing, or maintenance environments. The Pipefitter will work on-site in a dynamic setting, ensuring all piping installations meet safety standards and project specifications.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine piping layouts and specifications.
- Fabricate, assemble, and install piping systems using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and rigging techniques.
- Perform welding operations including MIG (GMAW), FCAW, TIG (GTAW), and other welding processes in accordance with ASME codes & standards.
- Fit HVAC piping, pipeline components, fixtures, and tube bending as required.
- Use calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precise cuts and fittings.
- Conduct soldering and brazing to join pipe sections securely.
- Maintain compliance with safety protocols during construction site activities.
- Troubleshoot issues with piping systems and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal operation.
- Assist with rigging and lifting heavy pipe sections or equipment safely on-site.
- Document work progress and report any discrepancies or safety concerns to supervisors.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar role within construction sites, manufacturing plants, or maintenance facilities.
- Demonstrated proficiency in MIG welding, FCAW, TIG welding, and other welding techniques aligned with industry standards.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, ASME codes & standards, and basic math for measurements and calculations.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems such as HVAC, plumbing, pipeline installation, and tube bending.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, calipers, pipe threading equipment, and rigging gear.
- Experience working on construction sites or industrial environments with adherence to safety regulations.

Pay: $26.00 - $39.00 per hour
