Basic EMT

**Overview** We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team. The EMT-Basic is responsible for providing high-quality patient care, ensuring the safety of patients, and working effectively with other medical professionals. This critical role requires the ability to work in fast-paced and high-pressure environments, while maintaining a focus on patient care and well-being. **Responsibilities** - Provide patient care and transportation to medical facilities, hospitals, and other destinations as necessary. - Administer medication and perform vital signs assessments as part of patient care. - Utilize critical care skills, including aseptic technique, to provide treatment and maintain patient safety. - Conduct patient assessments and triage patients to ensure appropriate care and resource allocation. - Perform basic life support and critical care transport as needed. - Administer injections and provide medical care in accordance with established protocols and guidelines. - Collaborate with other medical professionals, including paramedics, nurses, and physicians, to ensure effective patient care. - Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment. **Requirements** - Current certification as an EMT-Basic. - Experience in administering injections and medication administration. - Knowledge of aseptic technique and critical care principles. - Ability to lift and move patients as needed, with or without assistance. - Strong patient assessment and triage skills. - Proficiency in taking vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and respiratory rate. - Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment. - Strong communication and teamwork skills. - Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations. Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
