Dispatcher

Reliable Power Systems and Reliable Electrical Services is a full-service, family-owned electrical contracting company specializing in generator installation.

We are searching for a competent Service Dispatcher who will be responsible for getting our skilled technicians to our customers, so the company and our customers are able to have a successful day.

The ideal candidate will be hard-working, have a professional demeanor, and communicate clearly.

Pay Range: $19.00 - $22.00/hour

Shift: Monday – Friday

Duties and Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Evaluate customer calls and assign the best technician to each service appointment
• Build estimates for the technicians in the field and sell them to the customer
• Submit warranty claims
• Ordering parts
• Make calls to customers to ensure we have delivered excellent customer service
• Meet daily revenue and sold-hour goals by prioritizing the most urgent and profitable calls
• Relay accurate information to technicians, ensuring proficient, quality customer experiences
• Manage the whereabouts and needs of every technician in the field
• Record the results of each service call and create report summaries for senior management
• Be professional and establish customer rapport, encouraging repeat business
• Respond to customer requests, resolving issues, and promoting the brand
• Participate in training to boost sales and ensure quick, accurate dispatch of incoming orders
• Update customers throughout the day on the technician's progress
• Placement of outbound calls for rescheduling & updating customers
• Support the Dispatch department by managing Dispatch policies to maximize efficiency
• Respond to customer requests, resolving issues, and promoting the brand
• Be professional and establish customer rapport, encouraging repeat business.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of administrative support / front desk or dispatch experience
• Proficiency with office equipment (computer, telephone, copier) and excellent communication skills
• Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to pleasantly deal with the public
