- Greet customers promptly and professionally, providing expert advice on automotive parts and accessories.
- Assist customers in identifying the correct parts using inventory management systems, including POS (Point of Sale) software and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Manage inventory control by stocking shelves, conducting regular stock checks, and ensuring the accuracy of parts records.
- Process sales transactions efficiently through cash handling, POS systems.
- Collaborate with the service team to support automotive repair and maintenance operations by sourcing necessary parts quickly.
- Maintain organized storage areas, ensuring safety standards are met and stock is easily accessible for team members.
- Communicate effectively with customers via phone etiquette, offering solutions and negotiating when necessary to maximize sales opportunities.
Qualifications
- Previous dealership or retail sales experience preferred, especially in automotive parts or related fields.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management and order fulfillment.
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases.
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, automotive repair, and automotive service is highly desirable.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
- Basic math skills for transactions and inventory calculations; experience with cashiering or cash handling is beneficial.
