Job Description:
Reliable MD is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Bilingual Spanish-Speaking Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing primary care team in Sarasota, FL. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both Spanish and English and committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. Some evening and weekend availability is a requirement.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic conditions
- Develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and medication management
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab work
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
- Accurately document patient encounters in the EMR system
- Provide culturally competent care to Spanish-speaking patients
Qualifications:
- Current Florida APRN license with prescriptive authority
- Board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C)
- Fluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written) is required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in primary care, internal medicine, or family medicine preferred
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
