Warehouse Helper

Reliable Heating & Air is a leading provider of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning solutions in the Knightdale, North Carolina area. We are a growing company dedicated to providing exceptional service and quality products to our residential and commercial customers. To support our expanding operations, we are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Warehouse Helper.

This role is crucial to the success of our daily operations, ensuring our inventory is accurate, our warehouse is efficient, and our technicians are well-equipped for every job. Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management: Receive, unload, and check in shipments of HVAC equipment, parts, and materials. Verify the accuracy of incoming orders against packing slips and purchase orders, and report any discrepancies.
• Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and stage materials and equipment for upcoming installation and service jobs, ensuring technicians have everything they need.
• Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse. Systematically arrange stock to ensure easy access and efficient order pulling.
• Cycle Counts: Assist in regular inventory cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure data accuracy in our tracking systems.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures to create and maintain a safe working environment.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Warehouse Manager, drivers, and service technicians to ensure seamless coordination and communication.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory control role is preferred.
• Familiarity with HVAC parts and equipment is a significant plus, but not required.
• Excellent organizational skills and a high degree of attention to detail.
• Strong basic math and data entry skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Forklift certification or a willingness to be trained is highly desirable.
