Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Assistant Caregiver to provide exceptional support and care tour client, who is in need of assistance with daily activities.He is a male client , lives with his wife and has dementia and mobility issues.
Total 28 hours a week,
Monday to Friday 10am to 2pm and
Saturday and Sunday 10 am to 2 pm
The client is a 80 year old man who needs help with ADLS.
Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor patient health by checking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
- Medication Reminder
- Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, patient observations, and any incidents or changes in health status
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment
- Provide emotional support and companionship to foster a positive environment for clients
Requirements
- Proven experience in home & community care settings, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring
- Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, HIPAA compliance training preferred or required upon hire
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and operate assistive devices like Hoyer lifts or resident lifts
- Strong communication skills with the ability to follow detailed care plans accurately
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Demonstrated understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards in healthcare settings
