Job Summary
Reliable Handyman Service is seeking a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations and help provide an excellent experience for our homeowners and team members. This position plays a key role in communication, scheduling, organization, and administrative support within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and friendly manner
- Schedule appointments, estimates, and service visits efficiently
- Communicate with customers regarding appointments, scheduling updates, and general service information
- Support the Director of Operations with general administrative tasks and office organization
- Maintain accurate customer records, invoices, and job information
- Support basic bookkeeping and accounting tasks, including invoice tracking and payment organization
- Coordinate with technicians and management regarding schedules and job updates
- Monitor and respond to emails, text messages, and customer communications
- Assist with document preparation, data entry, and filing
- Help maintain organization of office systems and processes
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain professional communication at all times.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
- Basic computer proficiency, including email and scheduling software
- Experience with administrative work, customer service, scheduling, or office support preferred
- Basic accounting or bookkeeping experience is a plus
