Job Summary

Reliable Handyman Service is seeking a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations and help provide an excellent experience for our homeowners and team members. This position plays a key role in communication, scheduling, organization, and administrative support within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and friendly manner
  • Schedule appointments, estimates, and service visits efficiently
  • Communicate with customers regarding appointments, scheduling updates, and general service information
  • Support the Director of Operations with general administrative tasks and office organization
  • Maintain accurate customer records, invoices, and job information
  • Support basic bookkeeping and accounting tasks, including invoice tracking and payment organization
  • Coordinate with technicians and management regarding schedules and job updates
  • Monitor and respond to emails, text messages, and customer communications
  • Assist with document preparation, data entry, and filing
  • Help maintain organization of office systems and processes
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain professional communication at all times.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
  • Basic computer proficiency, including email and scheduling software
  • Experience with administrative work, customer service, scheduling, or office support preferred
  • Basic accounting or bookkeeping experience is a plus
  • Professional attitude with strong attention to detail
  • Reliable, dependable, and team-oriented mindset
  • Strong communication and customer service skills

Position Details

  • Fast-paced and team-oriented work environment
  • Must maintain professionalism and confidentiality in handling customer and company information

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
