CDL Driver Hazmat

Job Summary

Nashville Propane Exchange is seeking a professional CDL Driver Hazmat to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting propane cylinders across designated routes, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong focus on safety, excellent driving skills. The CDL Driver Hazmat will play a vital role in maintaining efficient delivery operations while adhering to strict safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicles.
• Drive route-specific deliveries while maintaining adherence to schedules and safety protocols.
• Transport hazardous materials in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and operational readiness.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage logs, and safety documentation.
• Follow all traffic laws and company policies during transportation activities.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery status or issues encountered during routes.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license with Hazmat endorsement required.
• Delivery driver experience with a focus on freight handling and route driving preferred.
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to hazardous materials transportation.
• Strong driving skills with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening prior to employment.
• Excellent communication skills and reliability in meeting delivery deadlines.

Pay: $ $28.00 per hour
