Our skilled and experienced service technicians, installation crews, sales representatives, and support staff are among the best in the industry. We are seeking a Service Support Specialist to join our growing organization and contribute to our winning team.

This position is responsible for overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment, ensuring that all processes align with safety and quality standards. The specialist will collaborate with the Operations and Service teams to optimize inventory levels and streamline workflows, ultimately contributing to the timely completion of commercial and industrial projects. By implementing best practices in warehouse management, the specialist will help reduce costs and improve service delivery. The primary objective of this role is to establish a well-organized and responsive warehouse environment that supports the organization's overall operational goals. This is a full-time position based in Appleton, WI, and reports to the on-site Service Manager.

Responsibilities

As a Service Support Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of warehouse operations at your assigned service center by:

• Managing the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and equipment.
• Conducting regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and maintain optimal stock levels.
• Coordinating with Operations and Service teams to forecast material needs and ensure timely availability.
• Enforcing safety protocols and best practices to maintain a safe working environment.
• Utilizing an ERP system to track, order, and receive inventory and generate reports for management.
• Occasionally picking up and dropping off parts at jobsites.
• Coordinating local fleet management duties.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Demonstrated mechanical inclination/aptitude through prior work experience.
• Solid reading comprehension skills, including the ability to read and match orders on shipping tickets.
• Basic math skills with the ability to read a tape measure.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to apply computer technology and software in day-to-day tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with warehouse management systems and inventory tracking software in the construction industry.
• Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment.

Compensation

Compensation for this role is an hourly wage. Wage is determined by evaluating the candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities.
